Do rappers think in words or pictures?

I def battle thinking of words. As soon as I end a bar my mind alreadythinks of the next end rhyme and then takes the best path to that word (just like connect the dots.) As it is freestyling, it is easy to mess up but you have to adapt and just keep going onto the next line. You can visualize a target or bullseye (your goal or subject matter) before you start. Once you start though there's really no telling where it will end, but then again a lot of the fun is not knowing what you're going to say but making it sound dope all the same.
