Does my puppy hate me?

He approaches me and has a cuddle sometimes, but when I'm lying on the couch he'll jump up and bite me. I get that there may be some dominance issues, but when I tell him "NO." for biting, he bares his teeth and barks at me. I'm not sure if he dislikes me or not. I give him treats, I take him for walks, I train him, I cuddle him. I'm just not sure, because running and snapping at me isn't what I want. I don't want to be afraid of a dog. Does he hate me?
