What should i add to my drawing?

i'm doing a cartoon for my school newspaper..and i have a kid taking his final exam while a thought bubble is over his head....in the bubble, there's a pic of the kid showing his parents his grades and they're upset....Im missing a lot in this pic because there reallly is no punchline or anythin...what should i do?!?!?!
