A question about dominance and submissiveness...?

I've always been the type of lover to be extremely pleasing, giving as much as possible. Then I met my current lover, he is my match! He also has an extremely high sex drive-and that's fine because i do too. With him being submissive do I need to take the lead more to satisfy his need???
